Closing Week 51/2025

Reflection

I had a learning the past 2 years not to sell anything in the middle of December. That was a nightmare back then. This week showed a highly volatile market with a lot swings in the account.
There were 3 ITM positions on friday. ARKK got called away, BP and INTC are new.
Next week I will focus to find good calls for the new positions.

This one started to lower the cost basis for the SOFI position.
It was in the money over the range of time, but went avove the strike at the end. Since there are assigned positions, I need to rethink if I sell a new put next week.

Seemed cheap when I opened it. BP has around 5% of dividend.
Now it is assigned, I start the wheel.

Covered Call with a strike one dollar above the assigned price. This was an emotionally rollercoaster, as the stock was up 83. Felt like a lost trade back then.
Lesson learned: Dont just sell the call with the premium in mind, also consider the gain.
