Today, I closed out my position on the SLV November 2024 put option with a strike price of $27.00. I initially sold this option on September 24th at a price of $0.37. I repurchased the option today at $0.14, resulting in a profit of $0.23 per share.
This trade was a simple short put strategy, which I entered expecting the price of silver to remain above the $27.00 strike price. The strategy played out as I anticipated, and I was able to capture a good profit.
